Wings symbolize unlimited freedom, but a single wing is desperate; you can only turn around. Human beings have experienced different ways of being stocked somewhere. In this work, a single wing symbolizes the "lack of hope". To sew a wing to a transparent sheet, one wants to tell the invisible reasons for being stocked in a location.
The exhibition's name was “Almere-Istanbul. “This relationship was built through these immigrant birds, who travelled through these cities yearly.
