Seçil Yaylalı

Seçil Yaylalı is one of the founders of PASAJ, an Istanbul-based artist initiative that runs an independent project space. PASAJ hosts socially engaged art projects, does workshops, organizes artist talks, and runs an artist residency program. It aims to create opportunities for local and international artists.

PASAJ was founded in 2010 in a passage/venue (shopping mall) on Istiklal Street (it was named PASAJist). It then moved to Galata, Tarlabasi, and Karaköy. Each time it moves to a new location, PASAJ invites artists to create projects connected to its surroundings. From April 2022 on, it will be located in Barinhan.
